Following the Devil’s Gate History Club presentation Feb 21st, and the congregational meeting with
photos from 2024 activities, a number of people commented how fun it was to see the photos and
hear some of the stories of the church. We’d like to have slide shows to display during open
house events, etc. If you have photos you’d like to contribute for sharing, please forward to the

Welcome Rev. Dr. David Pettit, Ph.D.

We are pleased to welcome Rev. Dr. David Pettit as Pastor for our church as of October 1, 2024.   

Reverend Pettit has pastored in the Denver Presbytery for nearly eleven years. He earned his Ph.D. from Denver University and Iliff School of Theology in the Hebrew Bible, his dissertation work focused on Hebrew poetry and the Psalms. He lives with his wife Holly, and has two children, one about to be a sophomore in High School, Hudson, another a sophomore in college, Abby. He has most recently been working as the Interim Director for the Presbyterian camp, Camp Story in Story, Wy. His preferred sport is soccer, and preferred recreation is woodworking and fly fishing.

We are so excited to welcome Reverend Pettit to our church and for our time ahead together.
